General

Ting-koo-ki Mad Skills Battle, one of the invigorating highlights of Tai Kwun Circus Plays in the past five years, has returned after a year of retreat. With “Ting-koo-ki” meaning one-on-one contests in Taiwanese Hokkien, Tai Kwun enjoys the honour of collaborating with Taiwanese circus artist Chen Hsing Ho again this year, inviting top circus talents from all over the world, who have warmed up with their best and even mad skills, to join the grand finale “circus battle”. The best who wins the audience’s heart (and votes) will rank up to become the final winner.

This circus battle is more than a vibrant party. Behind the epic contests and regardless of results, fearless contestants are fueled by a spirit of “never quit, never give up”. They may suffer performance hiccups or lose to more talented opponents, but contestants never quit or fear setbacks, and they always get back up after making mistakes. After all, relentless perseverance is what “Ting-koo-ki” is about!
